Rylei Is Officially Ours!!! 11-8-2011

Today has gone by in a big blur! Rylei has been more than could be expected, she eats great after we figured out how to mix the crazy concoction that she drinks, and she sleeps great just like Rae did! We started off the morning going to the civil affairs building to answer some questions and sign some paperwork to finalize the adoption in the eyes of the Chinese government! Yayyyyyy! It is very difficult at all these meetings to figure out what is going on since no one speaks a lick of English in Nanchang! It is exactly how we expected this part of the trip to go. While we where sitting and waiting for the rest of the families in our group to finish up there paperwork a nice but touchy lady came over to us and started grabbing and touching Rylei, so I was trying to be nice and tell her to move along to no avail, so then I tryed to shoo her away, but no speak English, then she started fumbling with her paperwork and we saw that she had Rylei's finding note in her hand (finding notes are very rare, this is a note that the birth mother leaves sometimes with the baby). This is when our translator came over to us to tell us she is the director of the orphanage in Yugan!!! OOOPSEYYY!!! We then proceeded to the notary office and the passport office. We finished off the day by going to an upscale Wal-Mart type of store to pick up a few things, I'd love to tell you the name but its name is all symbols, lol. Boring day, but all worth it!
