Our guide Sissy!
What a fantastic day in China!  We took a bus ride 2 hours to the north to visit Mount Lushan.  It is one of the best known scenic spots and summer resort in China.  Buddhist temples were built here as early as the Eastern Han Dynasty (200 a.d.). After we arrived Sissy (our guide) told us we would be going on a nice walk for about an hour.  About an hour after we began the walk, we had only made it about 1000 feet because the views were so spectacular around a lake that a Buddhist temple was flooded over in the lake.  Then the real HIKE began.  We went on these paths that I thought half of our group was going to have heart failure, the paths were about 3' wide with no railings on most parts, with a drop off of 1200 feet, it was incredible! Mind you all being done with Rylei strapped to my front side that doesn't need anymore help in the enlarging department.  I thought that we were going to have to call in a chopper on some of the declines to have my mother-in-law airlifted!  We ended up hiking for about 3 hours and I would have liked to stay there another 3 days.  We then had a nice lunch in the village on top of the mountain. After lunch we walked around for about another hour in this quaint little village.  Besides Monday night 11-7-11, it was the best day so far here in China. Tomorrow is our last full day in Rylei's birthplace, we are going to be sad to leave, but we are going to be 1 day closer to bringing our spicy little baby girl home!!!! Good Night From China!
