GOTCHA DAY!!!! 11-7-11

Wow, what a day today was! We left Hong Kong at 11:30 on a bus to cross the border into mainland China, where we had to get off the bus to walk across the border into Shenzen, China. We then took about an hour plainride to Nanchang, Jianxi Province. The plane ride was nice, we arrived in Nanchang at around 6:00pm and met our guide Evelyn, who proceeded to hurry us to our bus for a 50 minute ride to our hotel. During our ride she proceeded to tell us that the babies were already at the hotel (No Way, Holy Crap, You've got to be kidding me, Seriously!! all went through our heads) get your cameras and video ready because you will not have time to check in! So we arrived and she hustled us up to a board room where she said they would be passed out in order of the list we recieved! So of course we do my favotite thing and WAITTTT!!!! So they pass over 6 families babies, then it is our turn, Evelyn says "Melissa and Lee your baby is not here yet, at this point this s#$t is quite comical, so we WAITTTT about 15 minutes while Evelyn is yelling at someone in Chinese on the phone. We proceeded to stalk the elevator door and she finally arrived. Definatly worth the wait! Good night from china (I mean wonderful night from China)!!!!!
